Eligibility Criteria for Gujarat Postal Circle Vacancy 2016:

Pay Scale:

Postman & Mail Guard Post: Deserved applicants will grab attractive pay band of Rs. 5200-20200 plus Rs. 2000/- Grade Pay and other admissible allowances.

Age Limit:

Age of qualified candidates must be 18 years to 27 years or unreserved category and rest of all reserved category like SC/ST, OBC, PH and EXSM is permissible relaxation of upper age limit as per Government of India terms and condition.

Education Qualification:

For both post must be required Matriculation from recognized board or university.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Aptitude Test/Examination.

Application/Examination Fee:

  • For General & OBC Applicants: Rs. 500/- (Rs. 100 extra charge of application fee).
  • For SC/ST/PH/Female Applicants: Fee Exempted (Rs. 100 extra charges of application fee).

Gujarat Post Office Postman/Main Guard Exam Pattern:

  • This aptitude test shall be subjected to an objective type of questions with total 100 marks.
  • In this test will be comprising 04 parts like A, B, C(i) and C (ii).
  • Time duration will be for 120 minutes.
  • There is no negative marking system.

Part C (i): – Articles, Prepositions, conjunctions, tenses, verbs, synonyms and antonyms, vocabulary, sentence structure, Proverbs, Phrases, Questions from a small unseen passage etc.

Part C (ii): – Gujarati Grammar.
